I just bought a new house and default on to British Gas on their standard tariff. How soon can I switch? Shall I wait for the first bill or can switch straight away. Thanks.
You did take meter readings and ring BG to set up an account when you moved in didn't you? If the answer is yes then you can start the switch now.0 -
thanks, this helps. I have the first meter readings and rang BG to set-up account. They gave me massive direct debit amount which is based on some sort of formula and is about 2.5 times of what I will normally spend.
I will initiate switch immediately!0
