name not on credit bureau

we want to change our credit card to a 0% interest but my wife put here details in and message says not on credit bureau, what does this mean and how can she get on it?

Sorry, how did you get this message? As in on what website?

Credit bureau is an American term, so it's unusual you would be told this from a UK credit card company?

it was on this website when you do the check on your credit history for applying for a transfer

Is your wife on the electoral role? As this may be why the website can't find her...

Sounds like the checker is having some issues identifying your wife. The search principally looks at your call credit file.

Has she recently moved house?
Does she have any accounts registered at a different address. Does she have much existing credit history?

Has she ever tried to obtain her credit file from callcredit aka noddle?

Follow these steps:
Contact all 3 credit bureaus with your updated information.
Write a letter.
Get your credit report.
