Vendors rubbish after completion
Looking for some advice on my situation if at all possible.
Due to our location we had to purchase our property over value of property and after the vendor spent weeks not filling in forms and contracts with claims that she was too busy we finally were exchanged and a completion date set for 3 weeks later. However, before exchange she kept asking things like can we keep our things there and do the moving out the following day. We of course said no but offered a completion date of the following tuesday. Never heard back and exchange went ahead. Day before completion she sent us a text saying she was going to leave us the fridge/freezer. Great we thought! Completion came on 22nd August and when we entered her dining room table was there, washing machine, tumble dryer, a flat screen TV was in the cupboard under the stairs and scattered around in cupboards etc was other rubbishy small things. We get a text later that evening asking if they can collect the table the next day - fine we thought, we didn't like it and thought they would take all other things. Her bloke came around and was generally friendly and decent so I asked him about the rest and he told me that he would get her to text what day they will come and collect the following week. We thought fine as we are both teachers and still off work so we moved all their possesions into the summer house.
We never heard from them until yesterday lunchtime! Some 3 weeks later asking if they can collect the washing machine and the TV that evening!! I work 12 hours a day and a couple of hours every day tutoring so I gave a time slot. No response! Very annoyed as I came home just for that reason for them to collect. No response since then.
Can anyone advise on the legalities of all of this? How long do we have to keep their rubbish before we can chuck it? Can we send her storage charges for this? On a side note due to her delays we completed and moved our belongings into storage for 8 weeks at a cost of £48 a week!
I apologise for the essay and thank you for reading but we just want to enjoy our new home! The summer house is meant to be my "play room" for my gym equipment, music and football stuff but I can't do anything to this until her things are gone from there!

Easy. Stop asking when she's going to collect and give her a deadline, in writing preferably. After that date you can tell her you'll sell them or donate them to charity. Her stuff should have been out before you completed. Technically, you could claim ownership if the lot, what with her abandoning it all.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
