Afternoon all
I am going to Poland in a week for a few days. I have read that the halifax CC doesn't charge you for withdraws. I have such card the one that doesn't get £5 when spending over £300. If i wait and withdraw the amount i want when i land in Poland and pay it off as soon as reach the hotel via online banking will i get chanred any interest, withdraw fees or anything? I seems a very good card if i have read it correctly but i was just checking so i don't get stung with fees.
cheers in advance

As I posted on one of your other Halifax Clarity threads earlier this year...
"It'll accrue interest from the day the transaction is posted to your account, which may be 1-4 days after the actual withdrawal."
...so you'll be OK.
However, if you can't get internet access, and you're on the 12.9% rate, the interest is 3p per day per £100...so around 18-27p "for a few days" if you repay on your return. Not the end of the world!
As to fees, Halifax won't charge any...but, like here, the ATM might. And don't forget to let Halifax do the conversion, not the ATM provider, so be sure to read any message displayed on the screen.0 -

I usually wait for the cash withdrawal transaction to show up in theonline banking before paying it back. The interest charge is negligible (around 3p/day for £100 if you're on the standard interest rate).0 -

The Halifax clarity credit card is the best online credit card provider. They have very user friendly credit withdrawal service.0

Just make certain you DO NOT take the option to pay in GBP, I was offered ridiculous DCC rates in Poland (6% conversion fee  makes the post office look good!)0
