Should weekly comps be posted on the main board?

As the title suggests, do you think that the competitions which currently only appear on the "Regulars" board, should instead be posted on the main board?
At present there seems to be no hard and fast rule as to how they are posted. Some, such as Patisserie Valerie and Chewits have one thread (each) on the Regular Competitions board, which are bumped each week on the day they run.
Yet others such as Dorothy Perkins and Wallis - which run in exactly the same way as the first two examples, ie once a week for one day only, are posted each week as a one-off comp on the main board.
I think that there should be consistency in posting these weekly comps. So the question is:
should each comp be posted on the main board for the day it runs?
or, should weeklies stay in the regulars board and not grace the main board with their presence?!

Should all weekly competitions be on the main board or stay on the regulars board? 101 votes
All comps should be on the main board, including one-day weekly comps

As long as it doesn't create extra work for everyone.0

I vote everything in one place too - peeps can easily red cross the comps they don't wish to enter. Many weekly Facebook and Twitter comps are already posted on the main board every week anyway.
P.S. 104 days to go!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
definitely all comps on main board :j (with exception to postal/text - loving that new layout!)0

A little bit of history – In March/April 2011 after a long and sometimes heated discussion (and a few false starts) it was decided to abandon the monthly thread in regulars and post them all individually each month. At the time some supported doing the same with weeklies but it was decided to leave them alone and re-visit it at a future date after seeing how the monthlies turned out. It looks like we are now looking at weeklies again.
The implications of what is being termed “posting weeklies on the main board” are:
The weekly thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4827085 and its index (posts 1-10) will be locked then abandoned.
There will be no such thing as a weekly comp anymore – they all become individual comps with their own end date posted on the main board.
A comp that starts 01/09 with a weekly prize for the next 10 weeks “E: 09/11 (Weekly) Win a hamper” is currently posted once on the main board (and linked to the weekly thread). It would instead have to be posted 10 times (E: 07/09 Win a hamper; E: 14/09 Win a hamper; etc.). These comps would preferably be posted on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd etc. and NOT all posted in advance on the 1st with “Opens DD/MM” in the title.
There are currently 124 comps indexed in the weekly thread. All these (including the ongoing comps with no overall end date) will each need posting every week so it will mean about 20-30 extra comps per day on the main board, with more on Mondays & Fridays and only a small number at weekends.0 -

A lot of the 124 are already being posted on the main board though, so it shouldn't mean that many extras being posted.0 -
Fair point One-Eye. I do agree that it would be more work and also more comps on the main board - but I still think this is the best way to have them in plain sight of all forum users.
A few months ago, I was opposed to mag dailies being on the main board for the very reason that it was too much "clutter". However now I'm used to them being there, I realise it only takes a second to red cross a comp I'm not interested in, and move on. Just like I do with Twitter comps and many, many others.
20-30 more comps is not that many to either red cross or open, in the bigger scheme of things; and if the posting of them is shared between different posters I don't see that as a major problem either.0
