    They binned it! Apparently it took several days to make and was under hot studio lights for all that time, and therefore unfit for human consumption by the time it was finished.

    From the BBC News website:
    And the remaining question - what happened to the cake? Barker says they looked at donating it to charity, but by the time the cake had been in the studio and under the lights during construction it was not thought fit for human consumption. It ended up in a compost heap - though the chocolate speedometer and marzipan wing mirrors were, reportedly, kept for posterity.

    Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

    im not surprised...maybe they could have planned it better so technicians should have worn gloves etc
    so it wouldnt have gone to waste.....they could have sold a slice and got their money back too !!

    anyone here really bought the car ? how issit ? ...we have a skoda dealership nearby and im thinking of taking it for a test drive...but i find driving a skoda embarassing:o
