There's been a few suggestions of cheese (such as camembert), but does the non meat and fish eater eat any cheese, or would they only eat vegetarian cheese?
The fish for everyone except the shellfish person, and lobster tails for them, sounds a workable solution.0 -

Hardly relevant to this discussion on what fits the needs of her guests. She stated their requirements, no need to nit pick.0 -
I've made this baked goats cheese salad for a starter before and it was gorgeous

She did state their requirements, which in the first post was pretty clear, but then in a few other posts mentioned the person being vegetarian, which made me wonder whether suggestions containing cheese were appropriate or not, so I personally feel it does have some relevance to what people might suggest. Non-veggie cheese might not fit the vegetarian's needs.0 -

Every veggie I know eats cheese.0 -
Cheese isn't a problem - sorry for the confusion.
Loving the look of those goats cheeses - wonder if they could be served as a main with salad and new pots?0 -
Like you said, a nice vegetarian risotto like butternut squash. A fancy veg pasta dish with crispy fried spinach balls in a cheese sauce. Or a Mexican themed night with fajitas as the main, then you can have chicken or halloumi with all the veg, sour cream and guacamole.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0

I am a veggie who eats cheese, but not if it's made with animal rennet.Buzzybee90 wrote: »Every veggie I know eats cheese.0 -
I second tapas. Have a look at LA tasca menu and work round that. Relaxed and informal. Starter could be a light soup bread and olives and alioli. Main a Spanish omelette. Patas brava paella (Schwartz even do a packet seasoning mix) prawn dish. Garlic mushrooms. Home made cheese potato croquette. Dessert can be anything you fancy.
Something else popular at the moment is deep south food. Vege chilli and corn bread. Gumbo. Cajun veg.
The BBC website has some good dinner party dishes. As has come dine with me recipes (lots of bad ones as well)
Have a lovely evening.0 -
I thought I'd post a link to some seafood main courses to see if there was anything in there to suggest.
I saw this and this comment struck me

This recipe is a 'gift from the gods.' You can easily substitute the shrimp and mushrooms for something else.
