Drying out new shiplap fencing?

Just had some bog standard shiplap panels delivered, and they are quite wet.
I want to paint them with cuprinol ducksback.
Should I be looking at laying them flat and weighted down somewhere until they have dried out before painting so I don't seal in the moisture and they end up warping?

For sure, if u have the room then lay them flat....they won't bend or warp
..maybe a large plastic sheet (tarpaulin ?) over them to keep the rain off..... but allow the air to circulate.Take tarpaulin off if weather is going to be ok that day.Am the proud holder of an Honours Degree

Do people who keep giraffes have high overheads ?0 -
They will dry very quickly. We fitted a similar fence and no sooner were the damp planks cut to size and fitted, they were dried out within an hour or so.0

Usually wood yards store wood with small pieces of wood in between so air can get it to dry them. A couple of decent days and they soon dry.0
