CCJ Captial One

I finally got around to getting the details from Northampton Court about the CCJ on my credit file.

Bryan Carter were named as the people i need to repay on behalf of Capital One. Having just spoken to Bryan Carter they advised that Capital One asked them after a week of the CCJ was given to return the account back to them.

I have now rang Capital One the balance outstanding on my account with them is:
£683.06

The CCJ letter totalled to over £800 after fees.

Now i want to pay this off and Capital One have advised i ring up every month with whatever amount i can afford to clear this up.

Is there anything that can be done about the CCJ? At the time it was issued i wasn't living at the address they had on record.

If you owed the money and if they wrote to the last address they had for you then you have very little chance of getting the CCJ set aside.

Once the debt is repaid then you will be able to get the judgement marked as satisfied (sometimes a creditor will sort this themselves, usually you need to get a certificate of satisfaction.
