Help

I want to start claiming back past massive bank charges, my bank has changed name from Northern to Danske, I do not do regular banking there any more and am paying an old OD off . I am unsure who I send the letter to requesting all my past transactions.
All help greatly appreciated:(

A change of name does not change anything else. You write to the current addresses supplied by your current bank.

The banks won the court case on bank charges a number of years back. Now they only consider refunding on a smaller range of reasons. e.g. first time mistakess, current financial hardship, incorrect application etc.

So, what would be your reasons for asking the bank to make a goodwill gesture refund to you?

Sorry I put this in the wrong place took me a long time to see how to put it up at all.
Thank you so much for the info, I didn't know that I thought after reading Martins page it would still be ok to submit a request.
