ppi on next catalogue

Hi
can anyone help me.
I have put a claim in for ppi tht was added to my next account in 1998 and then taken off in 2010 all done by nxt without my consent.
The fos have come back and said catalogue and store cards were exempt from the ppi legislation until 2005 which dosent seem correct but anyway I asked if I cld claim from the date of legislation to time it was stopped and again thy said no as this was taken out before 2005 . It dosent seem fair thy were taking 30 per month for 15 years!!!
Thy were underwritten by first assist who I believe are an insurance company can I sue them direct?

It is correct, they were not regulated until 2005

It's the date of sale that matters.

    £30 per month PPI?
The cost of PPI is generally less than 80 pence per £100 outstanding balance. You must have had a very large balance on that card for 15 years? (was it interest charges maybe)

No, any complaint would be against the seller, they weren't regulated, you have no one else to complain to (or sue)
