Barclays gambling question Euros

Hi
Just want to double check something. I recently won some money at an online casino. I was charged in Euros for my deposit so Barclays charged me a fee which is fair enough.
I withdrew my winnings back onto my debit card but barclays have charged a whopping £27 fee. This is the transaction.
"Credit Payment
MALTA
AMOUNT IN EUR 1134.57 ON 09 SEP VISA FX RATE 1.254069 FINAL GBP AMOUNT INCLUDES NON-STERLING TRANS FEE £27.05 CRE"
By the way this is a credit into my account from the casino not a debit. This can't be correct can it? Why are Barclays charging me £27 to recieve a credit back into the account? When I won with halifax, I didn't get charged anything to receive money back into my account with Euros.

Because it's a "non-sterling transaction"?Why are Barclays charging me £27 to recieve a credit back into the account?
Current accounts - our bank charges explained 850 KBIf you use your debit card abroad or pay in a currency other than sterling
(either abroad or in the UK): Barclays will charge you a 2.99% Non-Sterling
Transaction Fee for using your debit card abroad when making purchases,
withdrawing cash, or when you are being refunded. This fee will also apply
whenever you do not pay in sterling, for example when you shop online on
some websites.
Well, do you expect the charges to be the same at all banks? When I won with halifax, I didn't get charged anything to receive money back into my account with Euros.0
