If it's the latter, then it was someone whistling down a corridor, but this manager has already discussed this with me, basically accusing me of this! Whilst there were others there, he only chose to pull me up about it!

I haven't said anything is 'down to the PTSD'... I offered it as a possibility and gave you a site to look at.

Yes I am being sarcastic, yes only I know how I've been treated
Me being off work is down to one thing only, management not wanting me there, they expected me to go sick, but I didn't and now they scrambling around, not knowing what to do, covering their !!!!!!
I'm not off work due to,PTSD, this is under control and I recognise what triggers it etc

Of course they will want to cover themselves - you work in a high risk environment with vulnerable adults... they need to ensure you are fit for work. Hence the OH referral.:hello:0 -

Strange that as I've seen governors arguing between themselves and they don't get placed on gardening leave
I got placed on medication because of the bullying, nothing else
I have a good idea why they don't want me there, probably down to the fact I asked them a few difficult questions relating to working rosters etc
But proving that is another thing0 -
Sorry to hear about your situation. Many years ago now my husband had a problem with bullying at work, having never had any problems of any sort before. We decided to fight it, and did so for about 4 years in total. The company were forced to settle in the end, but the figure was nothing compared to the debts we had run up in the meantime and, far more significantly, the problems with stress and anxiety it caused my husband which have persisted to this day.
This probably isn't the advice you would like to hear, but think very carefully about simply walking away whilst you have your health and sanity intact. We were determined to get 'justice' but the price of it was far too high. The employer will do everything they can to prove that anything but their behaviour is the cause of your problem and will put you through endless OH visits and who knows what in order to dig and probe and try to find something else to blame. Even if they don't succeed with that, leaving an employer having successfully fought your ground can leave you pretty much unemployable. I remember one solicitor advising my husband that his future employment prospects would be 'better if you'd been caught with your hands in the till'. At the time we thought that was a ridiculous thing to say, but I wish we'd listened.
Apologies again if this doesn't sound very encouraging. Here's wishing you well whatever you decide to do, but please do make sure that you put your health and wellbeing first, even if pride and 'justice' has to take a bit of a hit.0 -

OP - you come across as very angry and confrontational. Maybe it would help to try and see things from your employer's point of view...?
For whatever reason, you have been emotional and agitated at work. You confirm this in your first post. In most workplaces, this is not a huge problem and employees can be given a little time to re-group. However, in your workplace, the risks are huge and the potential for you and others to be hurt us high. You confirm this in your posts, too.
A sensible employer will stand you down on full pay whilst they confirm whether you are fit to be in work. This is not to be confused with whether your GP thinks you're fit. OH are the correct people to judge this. Until your OH assessment, you are on special leave. This is not usually referred to as garden leave as that is generally used to mean when people are not required to work their notice period.
Why not embrace this opportunity, take some time out for yourself and re-group. Use the OH assessment to discuss the issues you have been having which have upset you. The OH Report will then confirm the position with your employer and your employer will discuss the way forward with you. Try not to see this as a confrontation or a battle. Think of it as an opportunity for you to work with them to solve the issues that have arisen. If you genuinely want to get back to work, start thinking how you can work with your employer to achieve this.
If you continue down the adversarial route, I cannot see how an amicable solution will be found...0 -

Just frustrated I'm not being listened too by my employer
If it's not important what my doctor writes then why are OH wanting a report from them?
I am not a regular attender at my doctor and haven't been off sick for several years
The whole reason I've been agitated,angry or emotional as my employer has put it to OH is because of the way I've been treated by management, nothing else.
But can I ask you one question? Are you in a position of management or HR?0 -
Have you formally raised a grievance with your employer?
Does your union agree that the employer's actions meet the organisational definition of bullying and / or harassment?:hello:0 -

Yes I've raised a formal grievance, not heard anything back from employer since last week
