Hi Guys
First of all sorry if this is in the wrong place.
My wife keeps getting nuisance calls from the above number. Her phone is a nokia asha 201 and does not have the facility to block calls. I spoke to her provider (Tesco) who have put a bar on premium rate numbers but this has not stopped her getting calls as many a 7 a day. Is there a way to get these calls to stop??. I have registered her mobile number on the TPS.
Hope someone can help

Hi thanks for the reply.
As I said earlier the phone does not have that facility. I suppose we will just have to hope the TPS thing works.
Thanks again0 -

Has your wife considered asking the caller not to call any more?0 -
Hi Whenever she answers the line goes "dead". Ive done a quick search of the number and it appears to be of German origin !! I have absolutely no idea why this is so.
Thanks a lot for your help0 -
I just called the number out of curiosity and it rings then just says "All out agents are on the phone, To remove your number press 1" then disconnects so it will be some cold calling company that will not answer inbound callsCashBack earned to date - £1244-580

May as well report it - won't stop it in the short term, but if enough people complain, will prompt some action eventually http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/phone/tackling-nuisance-calls-and-messages/
I do this with all the nuicances (normally PPI, Debt Management, ECO scammers etc) - only takes a couple of minutes.0 -
Does it have the facility to record ringtones? A trick I've done in the past is to record a silent ringtone, and assigned any unwanted numbers to it.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0
