Go and visit the local schools where you live now, make up your own mind, don't believe what you read.

Much of the advice on here is good, and, if true, some comments show that some schools are breaching the admissions code, as well as some parents committing fraud.

Even once your child is attending school, if they discover the place was originally granted through fraud then your child will be compelled to leave. Don't do it.
  • You can pretty much guarantee that a child will let slip the one thing that you really don't want getting out... They'd only have to mention to school friends or a teacher where they live and the cat's out the bag. I for one couldn't cope with that stress and risk the upheaval it would cause my child if they had to then change schools as a result. I'd either just move to the area genuinely, or rent genuinely and rent out my existing property.

Home support is much more important than a 'good' school. A child who is encouraged to read at home will progress much faster than the child who only reads in school. A love of books and an interest in learning is far more important than the 'right' address.

    Both are important.
