3 x TSB Classic Plus accounts

Has anyone managed to open 3 x TSB Classic Plus accounts (all sole)? If so, how long have you had the 3 accounts for?

I check this forum nearly every day and I haven't seen anybody say that they've managed to do this. The rule is 2 sole accounts maximum, so if anybody did manage to open 3 the third one would probably be closed or downgraded to a standard account as soon as TSB noticed.

I am aware of the T&Cs re: 2 sole accounts.

I'm sure I read on this forum a couple of months ago whereby someone had 3 x Classic Plus accounts (sole). They said they had opened 2 accounts online and managed to upgrade a standard TSB current account to a Classic Plus in branch (member of staff likely did not notice the other 2 accounts already open or not aware of T&Cs at the time).

I've tried to search the forum for that post but unable to find it...

I've been keeping an eye on this thread over on HUKD:

So far, 2 people have managed to open 3 x Classic Plus accounts (sole). Having initially opened 2 x Classic Plus accounts, they then opened a Classic account online, logged in to online banking and upgraded it to a 3rd Classic Plus account.

Both people have deposited £2000 in all accounts.

I guess time will tell whether TSB will close their accounts; no doubt this thread hasn't helped.



I was just curious whether someone on MSE had already done this...on the 'downlow'.
