Dubai Hotel & things to see

I'm going to visit my brother in Kuwait at the end of October and we thought we'd go to Dubai for a couple of days. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel. We'll need 2 single rooms. We have a budget of around £50 per room per night. We'd like to be close to transport links so we can get round easily.
Also what are the important things to do/see whilst we're there. We'll only be there 1 full and 2 half days so we want fit as much as possible into the short time we have there.
Thanks for any advice.

You won't get much of a hotel for £50 but take a look at the Dubai forum on TA, that will give you all the information you needtravelover0

The best area for transport links and things to see would be the Sheikh Zayed Road but I doubt you'd get anything "decent" for £50 a night and you'd struggle to get a grotty budget hotel for that price. Dubai is an expensive place. You really need to look at a minimum of £100.0

There a a few Ibis hotels and a Mercure in Dubai that are within your budget, while not luxury, they're certainly new and clean.

The problem you're going to encounter finding a decent hotel at a good price is that the last week in October is half term and it's just starting to cool down, it's a popular time to go.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
