NS&I transaction record

Does anyone know if NS&I mail out transaction records on premium bond cash withdrawals? According to their site they do the their saving account, but it doesn't mention it for premium bond accounts. If so, how long do these usually take to come through?

To provide my mortgage lender with proof of a house deposit, my partner moved her premium bonds into a current account. The lender is being rather picky and is asking for proof that this amount is no longer sat in a premium bonds. It looks like NS&I are in the 80s and don't send any information out.

Cheers!

i think it was 2 years ago that p/bonds were all recorded on paper now, instead of the seperate bonds that you purchased.
so you should have had a updated list on paper then.
Every time you purchase new p/bonds or lucky enough to have a win , then you get a updated letter everytime & discard the old one.
    i hope this helps.

I may be oversimplifying here but if the purpose of this is to prove that funds are no longer in PBs, why not just show evidence that the funds are now in the current account?!

If you have NS&I online access, you can see any pending transactions (and all your bonds and wins) whilst the money is not yet in transit to your bank.

If you don't have online access, there's not much you can do for this time, but perhaps get yourself set up for next time as doing it all with paper is being in the 80s.....

I don't understand why the lender thinks money is safer in a bank than in PBs, btw.

    thanks for the replies.

Its my partner's NS&I account. She is online, but there isn't any way to get a "statement" that shows your name, address and account number with a balance. We initially submitted the NS&I version of a statement, which the lender wasn't happy with. So she transferred the money to her current account to use as proof. The lender now would like a full audit trail of where this money came from in the most official way possible. This means assuming NS&I send out a transaction confirmation in the mail. Hopefully.

I can't remember receiving a transaction confirmation in the mail after cashing in any of my PB's.

What if you partner logs into their NS&i account, on the left menu select 'Transaction history' then select the date you want to search for and the withdrawal transaction should be listed under 'BACS payment' in blue - click on this and a 'Transaction details' page will be displayed which gives you the option to print it off.

Also get a statement from the linked bank account that NS&i sent the Bacs payment to as the incoming description will show the reference number (it should have the same ref number as on the 'transaction page' above that you can print off from the NS&i site) that its come from NS&i.
