Return earrings bought in shop

Hi, I've bought a pair of earrings today for in the actual shop rather than online. I tried them on when I got home but as I took the one out the stone in it fell out. I've tried putting it back but it just won't stay. I certainly can't wear them without it dropping out, the clasps are just not big or sturdy enough to hold it.

Do I have a right to get my money back even though they are earrings due to them being in my opinion faulty? They were bought for cash.

If they are faulty, then you have a short period when you do have the right to reject them for a full refund.

Given its the same/ next day the OP can reject the goods for a full refund if they want rather than going down the vendors choice of the classic 3Rs once the goods are deemed to have been accepted
