financial associations

can i get them removed from my credit file if that such joint account is now closed but still living together?

    only thing which links us now is joint current bank account
    we have separate credit cards
    old loans we had years ago are settled and from old address can i get rid of those

    Your credit report should show who has 'confirmed' the association exists. Have more than one institution confirmed this?

    hi yeah ,theres a few old confirmed from about 7 yrs ago ,accounts are closed thou

    Hi Thistle73,

    As Yorkshireboy has said, while you have an active joint account then you would not be able to financially disassociate.

    If you close the all joint accounts then you would be able to be financial disassociated, even if you are still living together.
