can i get them removed from my credit file if that such joint account is now closed but still living together?

Your credit report should show who has 'confirmed' the association exists. Have more than one institution confirmed this?0 -

hi yeah ,theres a few old confirmed from about 7 yrs ago ,accounts are closed thou0 -
Hi Thistle73,
As Yorkshireboy has said, while you have an active joint account then you would not be able to financially disassociate.
If you close the all joint accounts then you would be able to be financial disassociated, even if you are still living together.
