7 Day Iternary for swiss trip

Hi Guys,

here is my iternary for 7 day swiss trip.

Day 1 : London - Geneva - Interlaken
Night Stay : Interlaken

Day 2 : Interlaken - Wengen - Jungfraujoch -grindalwald - Interlaken
Night Stay : Interlaken

Day 3 : Interlaken - Engilberg - Mt.Titlis - Bern - Interlaken
Night Stay : Interlaken

Day 4 : Interlakne - Zurich - St. Mortiz
Night Stay : St. Mortiz

Day 5 : St. Mortiz - Zermett ( Glacier Express )
Night Stay : Zermett

Day 6 : Zermett - Montreux
Night Stay : Montreux

Day 7 : Montreux - Geneva
Back to London in the evening

How does it look like...?
Is it look like manageable or going to be to hectic..?
Any thoughts or suggestion are welcome..

Your Itenary looks superb and is more than managable with the excellent Swiss transport system.

I would advise you purhase upon arrival a copy of the National Timetable (Kursbuch)this lists train, buses, boats and cable cars.


Day 1

Go to Interlaken via Montreux and Zwiesimmen, the Golden Pass route.

Day 2

The trip to Jungfraujoch in not included on the Swiss Pass but there is a discount, only worth doing in good weather.

Day 3

Once again the last part of the journey to Titlis carries a discount/supplement.
On your way out or back take part of the journey by ship on Lake Brienz or Lake Thun.

Day 4

When taking the train on the last leg of the journey from Chur to St Moritz sit on the right hand side of the train.

Day5

You have to reserve your seat on the Glacier Express 8SFr which can be done at any station in switzerland, for the experience its worth reserving a place for lunch too.
The majority of the best views are from the left.

Day 6

If you have time stop of at Aigle and travel on the three narrow gauge railways into the mountains all are included on the Swiss Pass.

Day 7

By lake steamer perhaps.

On some of your transfer days you may like to consider sending your bagage onwards by rail details of this service will be in the Kursbuch.
