Hi im a newbie and am looking some advice, I have had various loans over the years with ulsterbank and i sent them a letter about missold ppi, they have replied saying they cant find any record of my old loans with them as they are over 6 years. I have no account numbers or agreements, would it be worth sending them a SAR to see if they have the information? Could i call into my local branch where i purchased the loans and see if they could find anything on there computer? Any help would be great thanks.

If you dont believe them then yes. If it then turns out they have info, then you can reclaim the £10 cost as part of your complaint.Could i call into my local branch where i purchased the loans and see if they could find anything on there computer?
Branches tend to clear out data to centralised locations or storage. They have the same computers as the complaints team.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
