Hi i'm a newbie to this site! I need lots of advice! I was self employed up until march of this year and decided to give it up due to a seperation.A single mum of 2 children i needed a definate wage, how ever the job i am currently working is only seasonal and finishes in october. I recieve housing benefit and working tax credits to help with everyday living. I've now decided i want to go back to working for myself as it's been difficult with the children with schools and holidays. I really need advice on where to start and how to go about still claiming benefits as i wont be earning much! I also cant remember how i registered self employed last time...... Do i start up before my current employment is over? Thing is when i started my current job i was waiting over 8 weeks for my housing benefit to take affect as they wanted payslips etc, due to this i had to rely on family members for help which i really do not want to do again! I'm exteremely confused as what to do.... HELP!:huh:
