Student Loan for P/T Degree started in 2010

I started my law degree in 2010 and I have funded it entirely myself since then. I work full time and study in the evenings (@ Birkbeck).

I am approaching my final year and there is a possibility that I could be made either redundant or to work only a 4 day week (not necessarily a bad thing, I'd get a day a week to study!) but financially this will be difficult. I won't be able to pay the mortgage as well as the uni fees each month!

I may need to get a loan of around £2,700 to cover this year's fees. I have looked at the Government's Student Loan scheme but this doesn't apply to me because my course started before 2012.

Does anyone know if there's a student-specific loan out there for someone in my position?

Thanks.
