Hi!
I'm only young (19) and I've just got my first job.
Now I've got all the difficulties out the way, i'm hoping to save some money for my first home.
I get around 450 a month, and my boyfriend get 150 a week. I'm not very good with numbers and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to save so that we can both fly the nest and make a life of our own.
Thanks!!

Don't be in too much of a hurry to fly the nest - while you are living at home, you have the opportunity to save?
It also gives you an opportunity to learn about budgeting for the expenses of owning or renting a home of your own.
What is your take home pay? How much of this is essential expenditure?
What is left over? How much will you set aside for entertainment/holidays?
The rest can be saved.
