ATI X800 to X1950 Upgrade

I'm buying the X1950 Pro on special at Aria for £70 delivered at the mo and was intending to upgrade the existing X800 card in my machine. I've downloaded and installed the latest drivers from ATI with the X800, just wondering if I need to go through all the hassle of uninstalling them prior to putting in the new card or will it be picked up automatically?

Running a Dell 5150 with XP on it if that makes a difference

Edit - Apparently it will be OK. From a 5150 upgrade query thread here: "Best bet would be to return the card and get an X1950 Pro that will fit and work with the stock psu". Always better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

I'd be a little bit anxious whether the Dell 5150's power supply (PSU) will be up to scratch or not. X800s are relatively low-drain cards, but I'm not sure about the X1950s. Be aware that an underpowered PSU can cause all sorts of problems - the least being system instability, random shutdowns, etc to a lot worse like permanent component damage, fire & explosions. Whether the installed drivers will be OK or not may be the least of your worries! I would ask if the PSU is OK for the card at the Dell Forums. G
