A good habit to learn is memorising the price per kilo for each item.

I scan these prices and have a cut off point in my memory which I will not pay over !

I bought a bag of Crispy Potatoes for 89p but when I checked the weight against my previous bag at a £1 the weight had been reduced from 907gm to 750gm which means they have gone up in price. To have stayed the same cost the price should now be 83p. What a con.
Farmfoods have also bumped up a lot of their prices, too.
