Iceland and Poundland now on mysupermarket!
Options
Doing my shopping list, I noticed that Iceland and Poundland now both appear on mysupermarket.co.uk. I was quite excited (sadly
) when Morries appeared on there, but now I'm quite giddy
(yes, I know, I need to get a life
) Thank you mysupermarket! :T
Although, thinking about it, I don't actually need to price anything at Poundland, I already know how much it is! :rotfl:

A pity Wilko doesn't feature. It doesn't sell much in the way of foodstuffs but I have often found prices there are cheaper than ASDA for toiletries, cleaners, detergents etc.0

You might want to see if something is cheaper at Poundland.
i.e.
Mallow biscuits £1 v £1.49 / £1.50 at supermarkets0 -
poundland have a limited range, this way you can see if they stock the branded item you are after although you mostly know its going to be a pound! (not always, sometimes with lower value foodstuffs you get 2 or 3 for a pound)0

Will be interesting to see if the direct comparisons work correctly. Very often the poundland branded products are smaller packs then normal0 -
Ah. I haven't bought any from Poundland for ages. Doesn't surprise me that the weight has changed though.0

Poundland weights are often smaller even if same size tin for things like soups.
Iceland may have a chav rep but I've always found the staff very friendly and used to use them regularly before we went organic. Now with OH being gluten free it's diff to get together an order so I might have to send him out with a list so Iceland being on mysupermarket will help.0 -
Not sure if I am in the right section for this but saw the reference to smaller wieghts in Iceland. I shopped there yesterdat and saw that a lots of the £1 items are now 89P.
I bought a bag of Crispy Potatoes for 89p but when I checked the weight against my previous bag at a £1 the weight had been reduced from 907gm to 750gm which means they have gone up in price. To have stayed the same cost the price should now be 83p. What a con.
I assume all the reduced items are reduced in weight as well though I have only checked the potatoes I bought.0
