Upholstering an Ercol sofa

Hello All,
We bought a second=hand Ercol sofa from Ebay. The frame is in perfect condition and the cushions are OK as well. The original upholstering fabric is a hideous yellow which is discoloured in parts and frankly it shows its age. The company doesn't do covers buy it is trying to charge about £2000 for replace both cushions and upholstering.
The sofa has three "separate" seats if you know what I mean but I wouldn't mind turning them into one solid piece to update the look.
What is the best way of getting this sofa upholstered at a decent price (tight budget)? It is not the kind of sofa you can buy a generic cover for. Any ideas?

My Mum makes the covers for hers! Over the years, she's become quite a dab hand at replacing covers on various Ercol sofas and chairs. You can even buy replacement foam.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Thank you!
Where does you mum get the replacement foam from? Also, does she use the old covers and get the pattern for the fabric from that?
Sorry about the questions, I can saw very basic stuff but I've never tried upholstering anything...............................................................................

Are you talking about upholstering or getting new cushion cases? Or a mixture of both?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
