Smile Roadtrip honeymoon USA, need help and tips...

Can anyone help? My fiance and I are planning a roadtrip across the USA for our honeymoon next year:love:. Anyone know of any good RV hire companies? And/or tips how to make the whole thing as cheap as poss.! We've already decided to be "cheeky" and asked our guests to help with the honeymoon costs instead of traditional pressies, we've been together 10 years and have most house stuff we could want. But we are aware that we might not get the response we would like as people can sometimes be a bit funny about doing that sort of thing. So our budget may end up being pretty limited, any and all ideas relating to road travel and doing fun stuff in the USA would be a help....Thanks in anticipation!!!!:cheesy:

Why don't you set up a web pag where people can contribute by Paypal or something towards your honeymoon and write something funny poem like about how you have all you need for your life together etc but you'd be very grateful if they would contribute to your honeymoon - and they can "buy" you bits of the RV for the trip? So £30 per wheel, £20 for the steering wheel, £10 for the cup holder etc etc and tick things off :) People can either say who it's from or not - up to them :) Might take a while to create but you could probably do it fairly cheaply if you or a friend knows a little about web page creation :) And set up a Paypal donation button (the facility is on your paypal page somewhere)
As for the trip itself, I'd recommend you do a post on the Travel boards :) You'll probably find some very good advice there :)

Thanks Tine, I have to confess that I've already hedged my bets and posted in travel too. As they say many hands( or in this case, brains!) make light work ( or less light pockets) The website thing is something we're going to do, my darling boy is a whizz with dreamweaver and has built many websites for us and others (https://www.blobgoesto.com our photos from our previous trips) (and his artwork site, but so as to keep to the rules I won't type the site name here but if anyone wants to look at his fab paintings you can pm me and I'll give it to you!!)
This will allow our t'internet friends to buy us a pressie, as some have already asked how to do something for us.

Seeing as the pound is strong against the dollar if people want to give you money ask for dollars although you don't want to be carrying to much cash.
