Hiya just a quick question on behalf of a friend, she doesn't work due to having small children youngest is nearly 5. Her oh works full time on around £20000 a year she also has another child age 9. They claim cb and ctc benefits wise. When her youngest reaches a certain age will she have to look for work? if so at what age?
many thanks.

lol even more confused now. universal credit was suppose to be started in our area in 2013 when the time came they postponed our area after realising a fair few of the people claiming benefits in this area are not computer literate and in some cases literate. As far as i know they havent started it here yet even 18 months on from the suppose start date.Jan 2015 GC £267/£260

Even in the areas where it has been rolled out it doesn't apply to those claiming Working/Child tax credits only those claiming JSA so she has nothing to be concerned about for now."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
