HSBC current account closed years ago appearing as open in noddle credit file

I had a current account with HSBC in 2005 which was closed by HSBC back in 2006. I have recently signed up for Noddle and the account is appearing as open on the credit file. I also still get regular emails from HSBC about changes and in charges etc.
Should I be worrying about it?
What can I do to make sure it is closed and appear closed on file?
P.S. There is nothing outstanding on this account, the monthly payments appear as 0 and its all green. There was a small amount of my money in the account when they closed it and I never received it back. A couple of years after they closed it I enquired about it in branch and they said that after six month of closing you cannot claim the money so I never got it.

Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.

Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard.
Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard.
Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But you can choose your hard.

Write to them, complaint, stating what you said.
Tell them to close it and refund the money.
If they refuse, refer to FOS.
Best deal with it, as if it is open, and in the future they introduce a charge for that type of account, you will go overdrawn and likely get a default on your credit report.
Writing is the best way to deal with this.:beer:0 -
I checked my Noddle account and it says Opening Balance on a Current Account of £378. Is this money owed by me or money in the account.
The account is all green ticks and doesn't show as either late or in default.0 -

Why owed? If it is owed then should it not be red on the credit report? just curious.Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.
