Ebay item damaged no refund

Hi all I purchased a dining table and chairs form ebay on the 5th august. The table was damaged so i contacted the seller who agreed to send another table and collect the old one at the same time.

The second table came which was also damaged and was worse than the first. I asked for a refund to which the seller agreed and the whole thing was collected for return by a courier on the 29th august.

I have asked the seller when the refund will be and was told it was processed on the 3rd august but still have no money refunded.

I have tried to open an ebay case but it has been more than 30 days so I cannot.
What can I do I am £300 out of pocket and need to buy another table

Did you mean the refund was processed on the 3rd of september?

If so its a bit early to panic...

You have 45 days to contact Paypal keep that in mind. I hope you have some form of proof that it was delivered back because they will ask for that.

Actually it is now 180 days for a PayPal claim so buyer does still have that option.
