How do I clear my Lloyds credit card?

I have a Lloyds one which I want to pay off. I can't do it in the bank, or on the phone. I contacted my current account holders and couldn't pay it that way nor could I pay it off with the account information Lloyds gave me via online banking. It comes up with an error

  • Which bank are you with?
How have you made previous payments?

1 You could send them a cheque in the envelope sent with your monthly statement?
    2. You could pay cash/cheque/debit card using the BGC at your own bank.
    3. Log in to internet banking with Lloyds - double click the card tab and it gives you all the ways to pay.
    4. Set up a direct debit for the whole amount.

The sort code and collection account number will be on your statement somewhere. Use the 16-digit card number as the reference. Then send a faster payment from your bank via online banking.

If you're worried about the payment going astray, or don't trust yourself, send a £1 test payment first (and save the payee details) and check it's been credited before sending the rest.

I bank with Barclays. I'm currently paying by DD. I have forgotten my Lloyds internet banking info but points 3 and 4 seem to be the way to go. I hope.

I have tried this multiple times each time it comes up with an error despite having the available funds to clear the balance.
