I bought a pair of outwell black hill camping chairs last july (2013), not siure if I still have the receipt, and thnk I bought them from Go outdoors for around £40 each.
We used them once for a concert in july and then for a second time yesterday, for all intents they look brand new, but one of the chairs is split an the part you sit in, they have a seam down the middle and that is where they are split/coming apart.
What is my best course of action
thanks

Unless you have proof of purchase then very little can be done. If you can find it (or bank statement if paid by card) the you go back to retailer, as it is over six months they may expect you to provde proof that it is inheritly faulty0

i have found the card receipt, it was 20th july last year, it doesnt mention what goods \i bought but I know it was the chairs, I assume go outdoors will be able to trace it back although i dont hold out much hope getting help from them but you never know0

Took them back to Go outdoors today with just my card receipt from july 2013
credit to Go outdoors they looked at the chairs and straight away offered a replacement or refund, there was nothing suitable so took the refund0 -
