Double Glazing....bad job

I've had windows installed in my flat. The front is a bay which is classed as 3 windows, I believe. It is a private company and I was a little concerned when they said they had to come back and remeasure the front when I wasn't in but as it was the roof I didn't need to be. After a very long delay they have been installed, however, it has taken 5 days and I have voiced my concern over the front one since the beginning, looking at it myself and views from 5 different people who are builders and decorators. Today I left them to finish with the view I cannot judge until the work is done, however, I've come home and the front is not right. There is beading all inside covering gaps, beading outside which lifts off. Whilst they were being installed I queried gaps at the sides and top and was told it was because my wall was not level. Surely this is true of all house from 1930's and aren't they supposed to compensate? What can I do? they look terrible and the finish is bad. I know I will fobbed off saying they are fine but looking at my neighbours windows it is a terrible finish. I;m angry and upset and want all my ducks in a row before calling the boss. Advise would be good. Thanks.

Have you paid 100% already? How did you pay?
Are the suppliers members of professional standards body/guarantee scheme?0 -
I've paid 60% so I guess that is one thing in my favour. I can't see memberships, there are bits at the end of their website but I can't make them out. I've held off speaking to them today as I am so angry and nothing can be gained in that frame of mind.0

If they're waiting for 40% of the payment, you hold a good hand - so long as they don't start threatening you
We really need some pictures to comment further. Beading around the window isn't necessarily bad, pretty much all replacement DG has this.
Anyhow, best bet now is to write using signed-for letter setting out the "snagging" issues as you see them and invite the company to resolve to your satisfaction, which you have to do before refusing payment. Belling them and getting into an argument won't help.0 -
Finally after over 8 weeks the double glazing company have put the windows back in properly. However, they have left a lot of decorating issues. I had my house completely redecorated following flooding earlier this year and now I am back with more decorating needed. I feel the DG company should tend to this but unsure. As always, it's a battle with them to get anything sorted. I have pictures of what is needed but unsure how to upload onto here. Any advice on what I can do? thanks.0

Upload with tinypic/photobucket etc. and just post the links. If MSE wont allow you to post the links because you are too new, just put in spaces and somebody here will fix them.0

Thank your lucky stars the actual problem has been sorted, now pay them, and start the redecoration.
You really should not have done the cosmetics if the installation was in doubt., sorry.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
