    Yeah, they did say that. However they were correctly entered at my end, and more so, they were visible on Hasting Directs own site, you'll see that I said I confirmed my details, written in my post.

    The details were conveniently missing when i phoned up, which meant that had to start a new quote, apparently. I don't see how I could have done anything different. If you know better then I'd like to know.

    I'm sure that's true, but other than changing the excess amount at their own site, nothing was changed at any point and everything was entered correctly and would tally with any database.
