Got my VED renewal reminder...

It showed the that there won't be a disc to follow (we already knew that) but the options to pay remained as they have been either 6/12 months in full, no DD option.

    I think DD starts in about November time. Maybe October, but definitely not straight away. Government beaurocracy and all that.

    I guess the new system starts on 1st Oct ... your renewal has come before that. Though your VED doesn't start until October so I can see why you are asking the question!

    Thanks both, I wasn't asking the question as such, I always pay in full 12 months so the DD option wouldn't interest me as there is a surcharge similar to paying 6 months. How time flies? I have had my car nearly a year and today the notice popped up on the display, oil change due in 30 days.
