I was looking for a balance transfer and I was about to apply to virgin when I thought. Lets see what bank of Scotland offers me in my internet banking. (I'm a bank of scotland customer)This is what they offered:
'Get 0% for 15 months on balances transferred now (plus 3% balance transfer fee) and 0% for 3 months on purchases. Typical 15.9% APR (variable). '
The other thing that surprised me is that normally ALL my applications get refered but this time it got accepted immediatly.
P.s This offer does not seem to come up in any comparison websites.

Entirely on the strength of your post I got on the phone. thanks.:T
Unfortunately I was offered 0% to December this year (7 not 15 months)
or 5.9% LOB + 3% transfer fee. I checked and the transfer fee sits under the LOB, at 20+% cleared only when the LOB finishes.
But at least they were happy to make me an offer. So back to M&S I think.0 -
Thats a shame. Hope you find something good soon!Happy to be happy0

I use halifax and the same offer shows up. How did the limit you got compare to your average and was it shown as part of the online process? Thanks! PS 13 months from natwest for 2% appears to be a better deal but the limit will be a key factor for me and natwest aren't known for high limits unless I'm mistaken.0
