You can, but you are then regulated by the FCA and must use the data responsibly, sticking a sign on a door isnt reponsible and publishing data to anyone that is walking by isnt the same as recording on the CRA0 -

That's not really my point - apologies, I'm not trying to pick a fight here just exploring a hypothetical situation.
In your previous post you mention that your neighbour can't see your credit record but actually if they sign up to use Experian's services then yes they could, and it's quite a simple process to do so. I'm not even sure you need a CCL so theoretically it is public information in the same way a green sign is.0 -
Hi Hanky Panky
This isn't the case, Experian only provides a copy of your own credit report. Other people (including your partner, spouse or anyone else you may have applied for credit with) must each apply for their own report.
We also carry out security checks during and throughout the application process to establish the identity of the person requesting their Credit Report.
If the question was more aimed towards for a business to see credit reports for others then information can be found here

No CRA credit data is only available to audited subscribers to the SCOR http://www.scoronline.co.uk/principles/ principles on reciprocity, and to access a type of data you must also actively share that type of data on your own customers. Members of the public cant just sign up and access anyones data they wish.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Excellent - thanks for the info. I didn't think it would be that easy but wondered what the process was for getting general data, not just your own.0
