Power Steering Leak On Mitsubishi Shogun 2.5

I have a mitsubish Shogun Sport 2.5 04 and for the past few months ive had to keep topping up the Power Steering Fluid alot as its constantly leaking out making it hard to steer.
I have taken the car to 2 garages so far and none of them know where the leak is from.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what its most likely to be and how or where I can get this sorted as its costing quite a bit to keep topping the power steering fluid up. Also if anyone has an idea of how much this is likely to cost?
Thanks

I'm surprised there's no sign of a leak anywhere. Perhaps they just aren't looking very hard...?
The hydraulics on a power steering system are fairly straightforward and visible.0 -
Dripping out onto the road? Is it a steering box or a rack on that one?
Does it have a cooling pipe?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Yes its dripping out onto the road.
Im not sure if its a box or rack I dont know much about cars but I think I remember the garage saying it could be the box.
Not sure if it has a cooling pipe.
I contacted a mitsubisi dealer and just to tell me what the problem is they wanted 90 pounds an hour just to look at it.0 -
OH's Peugeot leaked from the pump so used a power steering leak seal on it. Stopped 95% of the leak. Just check every few weeks now.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Racks can leak from the seals and fill the gaiters up with the lost fluid so it
appears to be vanishing and not dripping out.
Have a crawl under there and look for wet patches.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
