New build house Sky installation

Hi. New to the forum and wondering if anyone can help?
I'm buying a new build property off plan and want to have Sky installed. Problem is that every Sky engineer who has turned up do to an installation in all the previous properties that I have lived in has been absolutely awful. They have run cabling straight down walls rather than going behind downpipes, left cabling short, attached internal wiring poorly above skirting boards, drilled through bricks leaving a gap etc. etc.. I would much rather the builders did it and at least put all the internal cabling behind the plasterboard. They have told me they would consider it if Sky can provide written evidence (dish and wiring)of the requirements for my particular Sky package (Sky+ HD Multiroom). However, I am getting nowhere with Sky at the moment and the builders need to know in the next week as the build has reached the point for completing internal wiring.
Does anyone have any experience of anything similar?

this type of twin cable required
TWIN WF100

from where the dish is to be mounted to each room that require sockets
twin f-type fronts to wall sockets

or with a co-ax output if you want roof aerial connections as well

In my current home, which I rent, I asked if I could have Sky installed. The LL agreed providing I used one of their preferred installers and not Sky because, as you've noticed, the just drill holes in the wall and tack cables everywhere. Going to an independent installer is probably a better bet as A) they know what cabling is required, and
will install the satellite dish and cabling neater than Sky. The team that installed mine brought the cables into the flat using an existing air vent and laid the cables under the floor.

My new build house had wiring for satellite TV with connections for the TV boxes in the 2 living rooms as standard, with the main connection point for the satellite dish in the loft, so I don't believe that the house builder wouldn't know what is required. As I understand it's pretty standard cabling - I would bet the electricians on site would know exactly what is required, but the builders don't want to be held responsible if they get it wrong.0

Either...
a) Get an independent satellite man to bung up the dish & wiring to your specs.. then call Sky round to install (they'll be pleased to find they don't need to do that bit of the job...). We did this when wife wanted dish round corner of house not on front etc etc etc..
b) Get independent.. to bung up dish.. and buy a Freesat box which gets many of (but not all) channels Sky has but requires no subscription... eg this box..

(Can record sumfink else why you watch another thing etc etc ...).
- you'll save THOUSANDS!!!
c) Bung the Sky man £50 to do it where & how you want.. I've done that (£25 actually..)0
