Plumbing Issue

When I turn the hot bath tap on full it suddenly stops running within about 10 seconds, no water will run from the other hot taps in the bathroom/ensuite either once this has occurred. If I wait a bit and then put it on say half way it runs for a little while before stopping and the other taps (basin etc) also work after a while. I have a combi boiler and this seems to happen whether the boiler is switched on or not. I realise I will need to get a plumber in but could anyone give me a heads of what the problem might be?
TIA

Have you checked the boiler pressure? It sounds like lack of pressure not kicking the hot water in.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

It's a combi, so it must have a pressure gauge-look under the panel?
Make and model of your boiler? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Below is the link to the installation manual.

Mine doesn't look the same, it has a sealed panel where the gauge is showing in the diagram. Thanks for looking though0

Aah! My Error.
The powermax is in this youtube video, and the pressure gauge is on the top left.

Yes, that's the one!
The boiler man came out today, apparently it needs a new blender valve...0 -
If you have a Powermax, make sure you also have a working and properly installed CO alarm..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
