Eye exams aren't 'free' in Scotland. They are merely 'properly' paid for by the state - shame we don't get the same in England!
Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

I had my eyes tested today at the local SpecSavers for £5 using a voucher that was on their leaflet that was pushed through my letter box a couple of weeks ago. Saving £12 :j

I have a spare Boots voucher for a free eye test. I will be happy to mail it out to anyone, provided the small print doesn't say it's not transferable. Send me a PM.

    hi
just noticed that dolland and aitchson are online offering free eyetest vouchers.

i keyed www.danda.co.uk and it says on main page of this offer
This may help as they also have 50% of frames as well i think atm.

Our local D&A does 50% off with a voucher from the yellow pages. I don't know if this is a national promotion or not.

i don't know weather the promotion is still on but last year i just walked into my local vision express that said free eye testing in the window and asked to be booked it cos my eye test with boots was over due and i had broken my glasses and they said that they could fit me in streight away, not only was it free but they said that i had the smallest stigma and that glasses were not neccessary (boots ripping me off?) no need for a voucher or anything
I am now debt free! Whoop whoop! :money::beer:
