Natwest Customer Charter -Gone

Hello there!

Has Natwest abandoned it's customer charter and 'promises', since when I search on the website, it looks like it's pretty much gone, with no results being published for 2013. Quite disappointing given how much they promoted it, and claimed how the acted with 'Integrity e.c.t'. Also, from their website, it looks like they have removed a number of promises - such as 'Never close a last branch down e.c.t and Call Waiting Times':

Unless I'm mistaken?

Banks' integrity promises and customer charters are only ever marketing gimmicks.

ETA perhaps I should add ethical stances to the above.
  • Wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

That's disappointing - given how they claimed this was a commitment.

No organisation can make an infinite commitment

I appreciate this, but this 'Commitment' didn't seem to last for even two years.

When I make a mortgage commitment it could be potentially 25 years. My morthage provider made a commitment to me that that I would not be charged a certain % over the base rate for the life of the mortgage.

What value did that Customer Charter have in the first place? Wasn't it just another load of Marketing hot air? Who seriously believed in any of it, and what T&Cs have Natwest broken by no longer talking about the Customer Charter?

Exactly what are people complaining about? It was just marketing.

To which you can claim legal regress if they break these terms. What terms or marketing terms in the customer charter are you so worried about that also might want you to take legal action?
