You are bound to get someone on here saying they are dangerous, due to a electric fault many years ago, in fact when they just launched.

Anyone reading that, take no notice. The fault was sorted out straight away and they are a great machine. 1 teaspoon of olive oil over some raw potatoes and 20 mins later, you have lovley crispy outer/floury inner roast spuds.

Best thing ever bought for our kitchen, apart from our induction hob !

As well as the fabulous chips, they're pretty good at getting sausages evenly browned as well.

Tempted to get one, I was shopping around and Argos/Tesco had them on offer.
    But i forgot about it.

Should have bought one back then. £99 for the cheapest one? Im sure they were only £69 back then? Maybe less?

I have a actifry for almost 3 years its the large family one. use it almost daily and never any issues other then replacing some parts over time like the seal, handle and stirrer which eventually go with use they get brittle and break. Definitely no over heating although it does get hot

I have 1, boy are they labour intensive to keep clean.
Do I think it's worth it?, well I'm not sure yet, they do the job but need a douse in oven cleaner at about £2 once per fortnight.

You can't get away from the fact that they use fat and the residue sticks.:A
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
