wonder if anyone can help with advice for my DD,she dropped out of uni easter of her second year 5 years ago,she is now thinking of going back and has booked a place at an open day heres he situation now
she has a son who will be 2 next october,a partner she lives with who earns just under 25k gross,she will live at home as the uni will be local,whats her situation regarding financial help?nothing we have read so far it very clear.

If she's looking at a 3 year course, she'll be eligible for student funding for years 2 and 3. Her maintenance funding will be assessed on her partner's income as it was based on yours in the past.

Nope. They work backwards. So, in your daughter's case, year 1 wouldn't generally be funded.

There's some discretion if she dropped out for compelling reasons, like ill health, pregnancy ot bereavement.0
