Help needed to pay off my debt!!!!

Hi,

I am I in the middle of sorting my credit rating out and all I have to pay is one more debt to Vodafone.

However this is turning out to be more difficult than expected. I have rang Vodafone over 10 times to pay this debt and they claim they have no record of me???

I rang credit expert about this and they said they would query the debt with Vodafone an if they can't find the debt then it would be removed from my file.

I later received a email from credit expert explaining that Vodafone had been back in contact with them and they had my debt on record as a cancelled account so if I ring the number provided I can pay it.

I rang the number provided in the email and it turned out to be the number I had been ringing previously and they could still not find me???

I then rang credit expert back who explained that as Vodafone had acknowledged the debt they could not remove debt from my file even though it was unfair as I was trying to pay debt and Vodafone wouldn't let me!!!

The adviser from credit expert then advised to ring Vodafone back and ask to be put straight through to a manager.

After this I rang Vodafone a further 4 more times only to be told I couldn't speak to a manger unless the advisers tried to find my account first!!

After the advisers couldn't help they put on hold to speak to a manager, after about 20 minutes on hold the phone line went dead, this happened every time I rang to speak to a manager!!!

Surely there is something I can do to either pay this debt or remove it from my file as it is pulling my credit rating down the drain.

Can anyone please help?

How old is the debt? As it may have been written off and your account deleted.

I would suggest writing to vodaphone by post and providing the account details and asking them how to pay the outstanding debt.

Hi, thanks for the response, the debt is from 2009, however the default date is 2012.
