Still feeling rubbish. Still sick off work. Sucks.

Spend a lot online in my boredom, its stuff I wanted/needed anyway mostly.. but I'm actively trying to get things sold too which should just about even out all the purchases completely.

So suppose that will be stuff for me to do today, try and get things up for sale! Maximise the incomings!

I've been sorting through this job lot of phone accessories I bought, I setup ebay listing for it to just be "lucky dip" but there is just no interest whatsoever so instead I've made the effort to sort through them to groups e.g. iPhone 5 cases, 4 cases, samsung cases etc.. so they are more specific, and will hopefully sell better. Just getting rid of them would be beneficial they're taking up space :o
I could sell them singular but I would literally have the stock for too long, I'm moving again in November ! Need a quicker turnaround to get my money back at least, hopefully make a profit..

Woah found bargains for two new mic's on Amazon, was getting frustrated trying to win bids on eBay then had a closer look on amazon and picked up one mic for £70 and arguably the better later version of it for £40!? Sold by a cash converters store, so no wonder its cheap, as long as they both work I'll be happy. Got cables coming for them, and listing my current mic on eBay goes live tomorrow which will bring in enough to cover the cost of both new mic's! Love a good trade when you get more out of it :)

Separated out all these phone accessories, they're scheduled to go listed up tomorrow night so good stuff hopefully they bring in some cash, really just need to get rid of all them. Just have to make up about £25 on it all to go even on them so as long as that happens then will be good.

Feeling tired and sleepy etc but think I should be OK to go back to work tomorrow, get my mind focused again will help me feel better I think.

Forced myself back into work today. Actually has made me feel better, so here's to my recuperation of the man flu!

eBay scheduled items go live tonight, 4 of them, all of which will hopefully by next Sunday have made me some money :)

Given up entirely on the new bike purchase until I can be certain I can afford it, so hopefully the day before next pay day I will have a fair bit of cash just sitting in my account which I can once next payday has come can spend on a new bike.
Though have to bear in mind I've counted up around 35.75 hours of sick, which I'm pretty sure all is unpaid. Near enough an entire weeks worth of no pay :( That's a lot of money.. so that's really annoyed me now that I've put it into perspective.

But this pay day just gone, I did get around £400 extra than normal due to when I actually started and the way pay works, so if I keep a hold of that extra then next month it shouldn't be such a blow. But then again I need/want a bike. Frustrating, just going to have to be very aware of this that extra money into next months paycheck will be very beneficial.

Made quite a few purchases recently as for a project I may have mentioned, new audio equipment, I've had to buy bits and bobs so I need to get an idea of exactly how much I've spent.. really not sure right now which isn't great.. plus I'm selling stuff I've bought recently so once the money comes back in from those then it should even out, thats what I hope anyway.

Items went live on eBay last night, relatively good interest already, so hopefully money coming in as of next sunday for those :)

    BIG MILESTONE ALERT!
Today I sent the final £200 back to what I owed my mother, it was actually money she borrowed from someone else to lend to me, but same difference, as far as she is concerned I have paid her back the money I owe her. Huge step on the becoming debt free! I of course still believe I owe her thousands and will spend the rest of her days trying to repay her by hopefully keeping her in luxury as best I can ;) cos she da best. aha.

£100 will be going through on the direct debits for the high interest CC (Barclaycard) starting this month, so a lot of money going towards debts this month! Luckily had £400 extra from pay cheque.

Budget Spreadsheet updated to show this, also added usual spend on lunch meals at work, a consistent spend:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ghHh24J_UfG5t4vzFOeIrbd-hzSEVOnx3wlhRPooztU/pubhtml?gid=1617987731&single=true

I am back to work now, and in an attempt to recuperate the sick days of work where I am unpaid (apart from SSP) I'm doing half hour lunches and finding excuses to stay behind an extra hour after work too ha ;) just gonna do what I can with that this month and hopefully next months pay cheque wont be so heavily affected by my days off sick.

    Happy Weekend!

£100 just went out today to my Barclaycard. So no longer am I paying minimum on that ;) hopefully the beginning of whittling away at that debt and reducing the stupid interest that goes on each month. Hopefully also means my credit rating will begin to improve, as reducing being close to my credit limits which will help a lot.
Then, when the time is right (when credit rating allows it) I will balance transfer as much as possible if not all of the money left on the Barclaycard to stop any interest at all, and then CUT UP THAT CARD FOREVER.
Haha, well maybe, or I'll ask for a heavily reduced credit limit (do they do that?, lower the limit?) and use it to make normal payments to boost credit by paying off each month. Yet there might be better cards out there anyway to do this with, like the cashback cards etc. Will look into that when the time is right.

    Hi Joe,

In my experience credit card companies were fine about reducing my credit limit... My Natwest card went right up to £6,500 at one point and I didn't want it to be, phoned them and they reduced it to £3,000 over the phone, change happened within 48 hours.. I don't see why you shouldn't have a similar experience :)
