Electoral roll

Hi,
As I am a non-eu citizen living in the UK I am not on the electoral roll.
There is obviously nothing I can do about it, but I wondered - how important is this to my credit rating?
Thank you

It can cause some issues and can make it harder to get accepted. But there are other ways you can help demonstrate stability and prove your address to potential new lenders.
You may find it easier to get credit from places you already have a history with, e.g. obtaining credit from your own bank, especially to start with as you build up a credit history.
Ideally try not to move address frequently, the longer you are at one address the better the perceived stability to a lender.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
